Bulbs: These are the faceted, single piece lens bulbs – much better / stronger than the two piece lenses that are glued together. These bulbs are the most similar in look and brightness to incandescent (standard) bulbs – maybe just a little bit brighter. These have a “glow” like traditional bulbs. Stringers: Sockets spaced 12 inches apart with lead and tail length of 6 inches each for continuous spacing. Higher power 18 gauge wire to allow. More strings to be daisy chained. Rated for Maximum Wattage of 1800 Watts which is enough for dozens of strings to be daisy chained using LED bulbs. Most places sell the cheaper / lower power 20AWG wire now – these are much better. I priced these at less than 1/2 of what new ones cost. The Yellow and Purple bulbs were added in 2020 and used 3 seasons. These were always put up the week before Thanksgiving and taken down by the second week of January. Never in the elements more than 60 days per season. Always wrapped and stored as shown in photos. These bulbs are 0.6W so they use about 10% of the power of traditional incandescent 5W bulbs. At this rate they pay for themselves in about 3 years and are rated to last 100+ seasons. Best part about these bulbs is. No burning out and no breaking when you are putting them up.
