Boldly and masterfully built in the 18th century – it was destroyed in 1945, rebuilt from 1991 and completed in October 2005. Special feature: George Bähr’s main work, the world-famous Frauenkirche in Dresden. The miniature version of the Frauenkirche is made of Saxon sandstone – the original sandstone that was built into the Frauenkirche. The stonemason of the miniature version also worked on the reconstruction of the Frauenkirche. For Bähr, building the Frauenkirche was the greatest challenge of his life.
