The item was put together and tested so you can see it working and see how it looks in the pictures. You do have to connect a smart device and download the app to fully use this tree. There are only a couple of settings when using the switch box to change the lights. The tree operated with no issues at the time of testing. The tree will need to be fluffed with the branches once pulled from the box and set up. This is a quick connect system. Each pole will connect into the next pole to power up the next section of the tree. The box will show you the order that they will go when assembling. Also we are unable to go through and see if there are any lights out on the tree.
