Handmade by me, this fun kitsch wreath is made from (primarily) vintage ornaments, multi-color garland/tinsel on a foam wreath frame. I called this one “Green Dazzle”. It measures about 15″-16″ diameter to outside edge and is about 4 thick. This wreath size takes approx. 50+ ornaments to complete with a “full” look. Please note that these are glued with a heavy duty high heat glue and they are fairly stable when complete as I try to connect each ornament to one another for stability. With that said, any type of glue can be susceptible to weather and humidity and jarring. These wreaths are recommended for indoor use only. I suggest that before hanging, you always do a test and check the solidity of each ornament. Check for any excess wiggle or looseness and re-tack anything that feels hinky. These ornament wreaths are a neat way to repurpose old and forgotten ornaments, they are easier to store than single ornaments and they can be a great new tradition and heirloom for your home! Please note that these are made after collecting ornaments for a long time from many different estate sales and often times “newer and old” get mixed. I would find that gauche- the horror. Anyone can do that to make a cheap wreath, but I love the look of old, used ornaments. In general, I like the patinas and scratches on the old ornaments best, they tell a story. But sometimes to make something “fit” I have to use something in my stash which I know is newish. I estimate that 60% of the ornaments used in any piece are 1960s or earlier, 30% are 1970s to 1980s and 10% are 1990s or newer. You can generally tell age and maker by looking at the top hangers and I like to position the ornaments with the tops showing whenever I can because then they tell a story also! The Condition Guide which I use to describe most vintage items. Mint in Box: Nothing wrong with the item, never been used, and in original box. Mint: Nothing wrong with the item and never been used. Excellent EUC: Very little wrong with the item if anything at all, no visible problems, excellent used condition. Very Good VGUC: Very little wrong with the item, in very good condition, maybe a little dusty or has a minor problem. Good GUC: Item has been loved, a little messy, possibly dusty but still good for any collection. Poor/OK: Item has been used, washed, scratched, broken or marks/spots which I will do my best to identify. Someone always pays and often times it is quite expensive. You may open a return case if it eases your mind, but in general that just slows the process as it is NOT necessary to return the item. I have no control over that pricing or system, so I cannot answer questions regarding their quotes, sorry. So, what you pay and the fact that it is merchandise is recorded. Most of the items that I sell are vintage, used and loved- they are RARELY going to be perfect. Also, you may consider something a problem that I have not even considered as a defect. If you receive something and are not satisfied, please contact me and I will do my best to resolve the issue. PLEASE DONT freak out and DONT leave feedback BEFORE contacting me. Just contact me if something is broken and I will resolve it. I will always strive for 100% feedback so please try to be reasonable and I will do my best to make you happy. If you find yourself with some delay or problem with paying, contact me. Toy and lead paint warnings. Anything I sell is not to be eaten. These items are meant to be collectible items.
